Anger Management 101: Teen-Led Interactive Workshop for Kids & Teens. Attend from Home!

Welcome to Anger Management 101 — a teen-led, research-backed, interactive workshop designed to help kids, teens, and families understand, manage, and express anger in healthy ways. Presented by the Youth Advisory Board of Act Like You Matter.

This video is the full recording of our live-streamed virtual workshop, edited to keep it concise and fix those live-stream hiccups. You’ll learn what the research says about anger and coping — plus hear real stories and personal insights from teens who’ve been there, and from our founder, Amy Jones Anichini, who shares a parent’s point of view.

In this interactive session, you’ll:

1️⃣ Discover what anger really is and why we feel it

2️⃣ Explore how to understand and manage anger with simple, proven strategies

3️⃣ Participate in four hands-on activities:

• Identify your anger triggers

• Learn stomach (belly) breathing to calm down fast

• Find your favorite coping mechanisms

• Reflect on guilt and identify who you’d like to apologize to

4️⃣ Hear our answers to important questions from kids and teens who attended the livestream, including:

• How do I apologize to my teacher?

• What if someone lashes out at me?

• How do I handle being angry at my parents?

• What if I have asthma and am scared to try stomach breathing?

❤️ This workshop is for you if you want to:
