Act Like You Matter is thrilled to announce the Theatre of Peace 2020 cast! Theatre of Peace runs anti-bullying assemblies and workshops for K-12 that are custom designed, age appropriate, solution focused, and packed with tools students can use immediately to overcome and combat bullying and to build resilience.
What makes Act Like You Matter’s programs truly unique is that they are run entirely by youth actors from Theatre of Peace. The company of 39 professional actors range in age from 12 to 19 and all live in San Diego County: from La Jolla to Lakeside and from Fallbrook to Chula Vista. They are united around the common goal of wanting to make a difference in the lives of other kids and teens. Each has had experience with bullying: all have been bystanders, many have been targets and followers, and some have bullied others (but not anymore!) They draw on their personal experiences to help create our programs and make sure that all content is current, believable, and relevant to kids their age and younger. The result: anti-bullying assemblies and workshops that hold students’ attention and actually work.
