Fundraising Chair
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the nonprofit’s mission, programs, and services.
- Write and submit compelling grant proposals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential corporate, foundation, family, and individual donors.
- Develop and manage online crowdfunding campaigns.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage, retain, and thank donors.
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events (e.g., galas, charity runs and walks, auctions), including securing sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful fundraising.
- Experience in grant writing and securing donations from various sources.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other Chairpersons to create cohesive fundraising campaigns.

Marketing & Branding Chair
Responsibilities:
- Work on branding strategies for Founder/President Amy Jones Anichini.
- Create marketing materials and campaigns to promote the nonprofit’s mission, programs, and services (Coaching and Consulting services with Amy Jones Anichini).
- Advise on the organization’s current brand identity. Suggest revisions if necessary.
- Ensure consistency in branding for both the nonprofit and Founder/President Amy Jones Anichini across all platforms and materials.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in branding and marketing.
- Creative thinking and design skills.
- Experience in developing marketing strategies and materials.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other Chairpersons to create cohesive campaigns.
- Commitment to Act Like You Matter’s mission and goals.
PR & Advertising Chair
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies to get press coverage.
- Write and distribute press releases, blog posts, articles, and newsletters.
- Build relationships with media outlets and journalists.
- Design advertising campaigns (including using our Google Ads Grant)
Qualifications:
- Experience in public relations and advertising.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Media relations experience.
- Experience with Google Ads is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other Chairpersons to create cohesive campaigns.
